The Friday Five is always calming and centering for me, I appreciate you sharing so much. Which poem are you referring to? I’ve never really been one for poetry, but I will check out anything you suggest. Also, we are still doing work holiday parties out here, but I like the sound of your party more than any work party I’ve ever been to!

I’ve been reading your posts since livejournal and was taking a twitter break when the drama happened. When I returned, I missed seeing you in my feed and had to search to find out what happened. I was so sad. There were many difficult times in the past few years where I wondered what your take on things would be. I missed your posts and the way you always reassured us that things will be okay or that we aren’t alone. I missed hearing about your writing. I am so thankful for these Friday Five’s and glad that you are here. 💕📚

Here’s hoping you can take all your breaks with peace and joy (you have earned them!). In fact, I hope you don’t even read this comment until 2024. 🥂 🎉

It’s hard for me to believe there’s 2 finished books of yours we never get to read 😞. I do hope you seriously consider self-publishing them anyway (at least in ebook format or print on demand). 🙏

Wishing you, your family, friends, and other fans all the best!

Here's to a stress-free end of the year of enjoying the now despite life's hard stuff. Children's books are great and soothing. One I love and need to get is The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree by Gloria Houston from 1988. I'd highly recommend checking out the show Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000). It only lasted 18 episodes, but is such a special show. One of my favorite comedies with drama included (you can watch it on Amazon Prime, Hulu, or Paramount Plus). Many, many years ago I went into a Target and saw the DVD series for sale. Thankfully it caught my eye, because an episode I saw on tv, was one of the snapshots for the back cover. I had to pick it up on the spot and am glad I did. It can be enjoyed anytime.

I find writing down what happens each day or every couple days is very therapeutic. I will do it then stop for months at a time. Thank you for this reminder. I always feel better and don’t know why I stop all the time.

I started a new job at the beginning of November, and I'm going to THREE work holiday parties! One for the entire company, one for my department, and one for my team within my department. It's a lot of parties!

So crazy I just finished Mother God and all the episodes available of The Garden too. I’m binging Married at First Sight and Toddlers in Tiaras now 🤦🏼‍♀️ haha

I live for this Friday Five! I, too, have found myself gravitating towards cult documentaries. I don't know why, it sort of grounds me in all the chaos of this time of year and allllll the possibilities our lives can take haha. If you need another one, Surviving Twin Flames Universe is a wild one. Thank you for sharing all the things, writing my life story is probably the only thing that has gotten me through the past few years.
